What is a builders clean & what does it include?
Builders clean is not as simple as a standard house clean. There are a lot of cleaning companies misrepresenting their services as builders cleans when they are just doing regular domestic cleaning.
Depending on the builder there are two stages of a builders clean;
Initial Clean
The first stage of a builders clean involves removal of rubbish, dust & debris from all surfaces of the building. It is usually done part way through the construction process which would include; cleaning up all the gyprock dust ready for floor / tiles installation). Builders use this service for clients as a walk through so any trade defects can be easily spotted & rectified.
Final Detail Clean
This is the final stage. It involves removal of trade defects such as render splatter on windows, straightening grout lines & removing grout residue on tiles, detailing of tiles, paint marks from floorboards & much more.
This final detail clean will give your home that Display Home quality finish.
This stage also takes a lot of time & attention to detail & once completed it will be ready for new homeowners to move right in & not do a thing!
Display Home Management are based on weekly cleaning of premises, providing overall property management & quality presentation inside & out.
Please note all display home sizes are based on living space including undercover outdoor areas under roofline.

- Walls spot marked
- Light switches & power points cleaned & light switches in on position
- All door handles cleaned & polished
- All toilets cleaned
- Furniture polished
- Stainless steel sinks cleaned, water stains removed
- Kitchen / Laundry sprayed & wiped clean including benchtops & cupboards / drawers / shelves
- Inside cupboards / drawers wiped clean of dust, dirt & bugs
- All ornaments, bases, glasses, plates, settings etc dusted & wiped clean
- Bathroom / Ensuite showers cleaned of any marks, sinks & bath cleaned, taps polished & settings placed correctly
- Mirrors & picture frames cleaned
- TVs wiped clean
- Floors vacuumed thoroughly including under rug edges
- Floors mopped throughout including skirting boards
- Front windows & decking cleaned
- Alfresco area dusted, wiped clean where appropriate, rear windows / doors & tiled / decked area cleaned
- Cobwebs removed from under roofline & fences where time & weather permit
- Advertising / Marketing signs cleaned, including lights where time & weather permits
